The EducationSuperHighway and the Office of Governor Carney invite to join an upcoming statewide initiative to increase use among residents of the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which can provide discounted or free internet service for families and households who qualify based on their means.
Without high-speed internet access at home, Delaware households can't work remotely, can't access healthcare, job training, the social safety net, or critical government services, and their children can't complete school work outside the classroom. In Delaware, more than 140,000 households are likely eligible for the ACP, and only 32,000 have enrolled so far. Households and individuals who have already qualified for a range of federal benefits are eligible for ACP.
Sign up today (https://www.educationsuperhighway.org/acpbenefit/acp-act-now-form/) to be added to the state's upcoming press announcement and provide a point of contact who will coordinate the initiative in your community. Key activities will include:
- Issuing a local press release to raise awareness of the ACP.- Raising awareness and building trust in the ACP via your existing networks and communications channels.- Promoting the campaign and GetACP.org mobile-friendly enrollment assistant on social media.- Attending training on the ACP and enrollment assistant
Additionally, you are invited to attend a virtual webinar on March 14, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. for ACP Act Now: Jump-starting ACP Awareness In Delaware. During the session, EducationSuperHighway will provide a deeper dive into what the campaign will entail and resources to get you started.
Thank you for supporting our goal to connect every Delaware household to affordable, reliable home internet.
